The FANY celebrate 110 years of history at Corps Day

Veteran, Country, and Active Members came together today (28th October) to remember the service of those who have gone before us, and to celebrate the exceptional support provided throughout the year. It was also particularly positive to welcome many of the new Recruits to the service at St Paul's Church, SW1.  Corps Day is always held on - or as close to - 27th October to mark the official start of the FANYs’ wartime service when Grace Ashley-Smith crossed over to Calais with six FANYs and an ambulance to drive for the Belgiums and the French.

After the service, members travelled into town for a celebratory lunch and the traditional presentation of all of the prizes. Congratulations to all of the well deserved winners.
