Grenfell Tower Fire

FANY (PRVC) volunteers deployed to support the emergency services and local authorities following the fire at Grenfell Tower on 14 June.

The Corps was mobilised in support of the City of London Police Casualty Bureau City of London Police, HQ London District, the Westminster Coroner, the London Resilience Group and the GOLD Commander in response to terrible fire at Grenfell Tower.

Over 60 members of the Corps were initially ‘called out’, with the first ten deploying within minutes of activation. Since then 112 volunteers in total have provided 819 hours of support to the various agencies involved.
